Reinventing Democracy

Academic and activist Marianne Maeckelbergh asks 'What happens when democracy is practised through a network structure instead of the nation state? What happens to ‘the people’ when the constituency is a network and not a clearly delineated geographical space? Or, in other words, can we have democracy without universal suffrage?'
